Knowing me Knowing you

 This was a day long project in which we got to know our fellow illustrators who we will be working with for the duration of the course, and maybe even longer than that! 
I started by asking questions to get to know their interests, I wrote these down.

It was then time to go a step further and visually represent them and their individual interests. Here is what I came up with

I also did a few more sketches of some of her likes/interests. I kept it dark and moody because Lucy is a big horror fan and I think it represents her aesthetic and personality. If I had more than an afternoon I think I would have done a larger scale piece with more refined drawings but for the time we had I was pleased with the outcome. 

Dan didn't want to be drawn, but I did this quick sketch of Steve which turned out more like a police sketch of a criminal on the run

Reflection: I could have done more for a final piece of this session, but i was glad to get to know my peers better. I found it difficult to manage the time with 2 people to interview, this is something i can work on.
